Takaful is an Arabic word that means “Guaranteeing each other”. It is a system of Islamic Insurance based on the principle of Ta’awun (mutual assistance) and Tabarru (Gift, Give away, donation) where the risk is shared collectively by the group voluntarily.

Non-muslims are welcomed to participate in Takaful Insurance as well.

In addition, we also assist Muslims to prepare for their Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, which every adult Muslim is supposed to make at least once in his or her lifetime: the fifth of the Pillars of Islam.

Estate Planning Services

We all know we should make a Will, but it’s one of those things that many of us never seem to get round to. In fact, it’s estimated that one in three people die without ever having made one.

Not making a Will can mean chaos and financial worry for your family or dependants after you have gone. Without one, you cannot be sure that your money and property will be passed on according to your wishes or in a timely manner.

When a non-mulsim dies without a Will (called dying intestate), the intestacy rules determine who inherits what. In Malaysia, the estate left behind will be distributed in accordance to the Distribution Act 1958. The same law applies to males and females.

Only when a person dies leaving no parents, spouse, children and any family members will the whole estate go to the government.

Estate distribution of a Muslim person who dies intestate will be governed by the Islamic law of inheritance (faraid) and to a certain extent Malay custom.

If you need help on how to go about making a Will, or any other aspect of your finances, you can speak to a member of our team to get individual guidance.
